  • Devised and implemented a comprehensive marketing strategy for a £19 billion investment manager against a background of considerable restructuring within the business. This involved strategic positioning and rebranding, as well as overhauling the client reporting function, internal communications, media relationship management, and pitch processes. We advised on increasing their profile in overseas markets and were involved in launching several highly innovative products.
  • Advised a major UK institutional manager on the improvement of existing reporting to their significant institutional client base. This involved a comprehensive audit of current reporting material and processes, with recommendations for a complete restructuring of production procedures and redesign of reports, including content and composition.
  • Provided consultative services for a major pensions provider on the marketing of new and innovative multi-manager products to investment consultants, trustees and pension scheme members.
  • Worked with a leading institutional asset manager to develop a communications strategy for a new Defined Contribution product. The communications strategy involved marketing the concept to trustees and educating members on investment issues. We also devised separate reporting lines to both trustees and members. The strategy was implemented by First Quartile and involved branding, website build, advertising and literature production.
  • Advised a major UK institution on how to communicate with their clients regarding a major outsourcing of their back and middle office and explain the changes that would result.
  • Devised and implemented a marketing strategy for a joint venture between a leading real estate investment manager and a top UK property managing agent. This involved creating the company's corporate identity, literature, websites and organising launch events.
